Morning rituals are so important. They set the tone of the day, they allow for those extra few minutes of peace between getting out of bed and starting all the important tasks. And they just make us feel better.
Starting the morning with a coffee is an important ritual for so many of us (some may say a necessity!) Sophie from Wholehearted Eats has shared her recipe for an autumn spiced superfood coffee. It has a dollop of coconut oil for healthy fat to get your brain moving in the morning, as well as a smattering of warming spices which can do incredible things for our digestive health, skin, and heart. It doesn't hurt that it tastes like comfort in a mug either!
INGREDIENTS & RECIPE

1 Cup of Coffee
1/2 tsp Cocoa Powder
1/8 tsp. Cinnamon
1/8 tsp. Ginger
1/8 tsp. Turmeric
A pinch of Cardamom
A 1/8-1/4 tsp Coconut Oil
Pinch Fresh Nutmeg
Milk, cold or whipped
Optional 1/2 tsp Maple Syrup
Simply stir all together and enjoy!
