A Huge Favourite

Okay so I’ve had Honey Tobacco for over 7 or 8 years now! I first bought a rollerball of it when I lived in Victoria and Picot Collective was a tiny boutique store - and I’ve had a bottle ever since, as well as the body butter and perfume! The scent truly has beast-mode lasting power and is the PERFECT cozy fall/winter scent. If I had to compare it to any other perfume I’d say it’s somewhat similar to a mixture of By the Fireplace and Jazz Club by Maison Martin Margiela, but Honey Tobacco is so much more complex and less smokey. I don’t find Honey Tobacco to be too spicy or masculine - it’s the perfect winter gourmand that isn’t too sweet, cloying or linear. It has a sweetness, creaminess and depth to it like no other fragrance I have, and has notes I can’t put my finger on - slightly vanilla, amber, woody, creamy, ever so slightly spicy (a warm spice like cinnamon or clove even though it doesn’t smell like either!). So beautiful and lovely, immediately reminds me of a cozy Christmas evening sipping a spiced cocktail while vanilla goodies are baking in the oven, wearing your favourite cashmere sweater. I’ll always have this in my collection!

Not quite what I was expecting

With all the amazing reviews I was really hopeful with honey tobacco sent, especially not being able to smell it before purchasing. Unfortunately I’m not happy with it. It mainly smells of just tobacco. Everyone I have asked about it to make sure it’s not just me has not been a fan of it either. Unfortunately I can’t return it because I bought it on sale.
I do love the hand sanitizer, that’s a win at least.
