I made a brief list to reflect on some highlights of the past year. A first for me, honestly, as I usually focus on what to leave behind rather than highlight and celebrate. I really enjoyed this process!

Best cleansing practice – sold 70% of my well-loved furniture and re-invested in new that suits me now
Best morning routine - daily journalling with coffee while watching the sunrise
Best evening routine - Monday night book club with 5 friends

Best recipe – my cake
Best New TV Series – Yellowjackets
Best re-run- One Tree Hill
Best Documentary – It’s a tie: The Alpinist and The Rescue
Best surprise- my neighbour became one of my dearest friends
Best personal challenge – embracing daily exercise in all different forms for the enjoyment of it rather than the results of it. Honourable mentions: boxing, commuting by bike, walking, paddle boarding, and yoga.

Best thing I did for my mental health – took breaks from work every day to take a walk (anywhere from 10 mins to 1 hr). I don't need to rush to get everything done, and allowing myself and a problem to breathe a little bit is the best thing I can do.
Best realization - progress over perfection
Best new activity - stand up paddle boarding
Best personal achievement – 2 years alcohol-free
Best professional achievement – released the Honey Tobacco eau de parfum, which grew to be our top seller and was featured in Chatelaine Magazine
Best acceptance of the year – being at peace with the possibility of not having children
