Beeswax as a stabilizer
Beeswax has a naturally high melting point, which firms up the blend and slows the burn further. It also produces negative ions when burned, which can help neutralise pollutants, dust, and allergens in the air. It is the oldest candle material in existence and still one of the best.
Soy as the carrier
Soy wax is derived from soybean oil, is biodegradable, and blends well with both coconut wax and fragrance oils. It gives the candle a smooth, creamy appearance and helps anchor the scent evenly throughout the wax rather than concentrating it at the surface.
Better scent throw
Coconut wax in particular has an exceptional ability to hold fragrance oil and release it evenly as it burns. The result is a consistent scent throw from the first burn to the last. It does not spike strong and then fade, which is a common complaint with paraffin candles.
